Clover Gift Cards: Physical and Digital
Sell custom-branded plastic gift cards or digital cards by email and SMS — right from your Clover dashboard.
Gift cards attract new customers, increase foot traffic and build loyalty — and customers typically spend more than the card's value when they redeem. 61% of consumers buy gift cards for milestone events, and 47% prefer them to a traditional gift (Gift Card Gauge 2023).
Physical cards
- Order as few as 100 custom-branded cards, generally delivered in about 14 days from design.
- Choose from 100+ designs and add your logo.
- Two packages: Standard (pre-designed templates) or Deluxe (upload your own design).
Digital cards
- Choose "Sell a Digital Gift Card" on your Clover and enter the value. Customers receive it by email or SMS.
- Redeem in store or through your Clover online ordering site.
- Customers can store and manage cards in the free Gyft app.
Getting started
- Log in to your Clover web dashboard, find Gift Cards in the left-hand menu, and accept the terms — you're ready to sell.
- Order cards self-serve from the dashboard. Multiple locations are supported; we'll confirm your account setup.
- Reporting includes daily and monthly transaction and promo detail, plus outstanding liability.
- Issue or reload a gift card as a refund — an alternative to cash or card refunds that brings customers back.
The Gift Card app is currently unavailable in French and in the province of Quebec.
